One of our most successful projects here at Ville-Emard is the Coco & his friends puppet show. It serves the church in so many ways.
First, it is a great opportunity to invite friends and community members to visit the church in a relaxed way.
Secondly, Coco & Friends provides a chance for so many of us to serve the Lord since Roger and Diane need quite a few people to work in a variety of areas. In addition to these, Coco brings together so many in a spirit of cooperation and good fellowship. Everyone is usually tired, but very happy after the sessions are over. This is because all those who serve know they have done a very good deed when they see the smiling faces of so many happy children week after week.
Finally, I think the greatest satisfaction produced by this minstry is the knowledge that by our actions we have introduced Jesus to a young soul and maybe one day that person will come to Christ because of his time with Coco & his friends.
You see, Coco’s friends are all those who volunteer to help bring the precious message of Jesus to the tender souls who will enter here when we start the project on November 8.
Coco needs some new “friends”... won’t you help him out this year?
