In John 8:31-47 Jesus teaches that in Satan’s domain there are slaves and there are sons. How then can a slave become a son of the devil? Here are 12 ways one can become a child of the devil:

1. Learn to become deaf to God’s calling.
2. Quiet every reproach of your own conscience.
3. Choke down every desire for a higher or more noble life.
4. Cultivate a self satisfaction that desires no improvement in oneself.
5. Never cease to justify yourself to yourself.
6. Never admit that you may be in bondage to something.
7. Never let yourself feel guilty or humiliated for your actions.
8. Only live for self gratification.
9. Don’t bother learning what God is saying to you in His Word.
10. Keep your prejudices intact, make no effort to inquire, continue to judge by appearances only.
11. Never consider the proofs that the truth provides as enough to change your mind.
12. Don’t let anyone unmask the lies you so enjoy living by.

Do all these things and I guarantee that you will become a child of the devil.
