Things to do list...
Our visit to the new building was very encouraging with nearly 70 people attending. The response was positive and many had questions concerning the renovations and other matters involving the move. In order to answer some of these I have prepared a lit of “things to do” that will demonstrate the many details still to work out before our transition will be complete. Hopefully the answers to your questions will be found here.
To Do
- Building inspection by ProspecPlus engineering firm.
- Architectural inspection and renovation cost analysis by R. DeLaRiva Co. architects.
- Application to City for zoning change.
- Obtain plans, certificates, legal documents from owner of building.
- Confirm credit line for purchase and renovation of new building with CCDC mortgage company.
- Arrange final move-out from Verdun with new owners (June 30th).
- Finalize sale of Verdun building at Descary & Robert notaries.
- Finalize sale of Ville-Émard building with property owners.
- Complete preliminary renovations and clean-up at Ville-Émard building.
- Organize packing in Verdun, move and set up in Ville-Émard.
- Finalize legal name and address changes for government, bank, suppliers, printed materials, signs and websites.
- Set up offices, phones, internet, and utilities in new office.
- Designate classrooms, worship areas, kitchen, storage, etc. for church use in new building.
- Complete indoor and outdoor renovations.
- Maintain dependence on the Lord and loving spirit for all.
